Every day in 2026, thousands of people search for “hiring a hacker for iPhone.” Some suspect a cheating spouse and want to read their text messages. Others have a second-hand cell phone locked to someone else’s iCloud account. A few are employers trying to monitor staff devices without going through proper channels. Whatever the reason, the searches keep climbing – and so do the scams, the arrests, and the victims.

Let us be direct from the start: hiring a hacker to access an iPhone is illegal in most jurisdictions, and it carries severe legal, financial, and security risks. Paying someone from the dark web or a Telegram channel to break into a mobile device is a criminal act in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and most other countries in the world. The person who pays is just as liable as the person who performs the hack.
